I awoke as the day hat not yet begun. Something in my heart was telling me to leave and never come back. I was hesitant at first to leave everything behind but something inside of me would not let me stay. I packed up some stuff and left my village behind. My tiny body could not take the hours of running so i stopped to take a breath. With all the mist i could barely see.
I leaned up against a tree to take a nap. All i recalled was a boy about my age covered in blood running in the opposite direction. I fell asleep and went off into a dream. I awoke several hours later and the mist had cleared. I wandered around until i had found a broken down dojo.
There was an elderly man meditating in the middle of the dojo. As soon as i touched the door he says "Why have you come here?"
"Something inside me told me to run away from my village and i stubled on to this place out of curiosity."
he replied "So what are you going to do next?"
"I have no idea what i'm going to do next."
"And if you die?"
"What do you mean?"
The man got up and shot a bolt of lighting out of his fingertips. My body reacted and i immediatly dodged the lighting. The mysterious man blasted me with this blue blast of energy and it knocked me out.
Several hours later, i awoke suprised to be alive in a small room.
The man was sitting with his back turned sipping some tea.
"So your will to live is that strong. You are the first person to dodge my lightning attack. So if you do live do you want to become my pupil?"
I answered " After you knocked me out with a wired blue blast and tried to kill me? I don't know. If i be your pupil will you teach me that lightning attack?"
"Possibly. You must know what it means to be disciplined."
He took me under his wing and over the years. When my training was complete he gave me his sacred tonfa blades and sent off on an adventure...
